Tome, New Mexico

The bell towers had been removed in the early 1970's due to structural problems. It was discovered that concrete plaster used to replace natural Adobe plaster in the past did not allow the Terron brick construction to breath and moisture accumulated which could cause a collapse of the building. Plaster was removed from the entiure building and replaced with natural eathern plaster. The project was completed in early 2013.
